The 260 Sundeck is the largest model in the popular Hurricane deck boat line and one of the few that feature twin engines.   With seating for 12 this is a large comfortable family and friends boat for a variety of water activities.

At the bow is a 4 step retractable stainless ladder (perfect to get back aboard from 'the sandbar'). Deck is non-skid. The ladder retracts over the Anchor hatch.  There are two forward stainless pop up cleats, twin bright docking lights and the required forward navigation lights. Access to the boat from a dock is port side just forward of midship.

The forward seating lounge is "U" shape with full length lounge to starboard.  Kenwood speakers, multiple recessed beverage holders, in deck storage and storage under all seating areas. 4 people could comfortably enjoy the ride.  As expected for a 13 year old boat, the upholstery shows some wear, but really in much nicer condition than most I see of this age.  A spotlight is mounted starboard just forward of windshield/ helm area.

Walking aft port of the helm/cabin with a single step up. In the gunnel walls more storage including a fishing tackle center (holds Plano boxes).  Helm seating is two thickly padded quite comfortable swivel pedestal seats. The dash is woodgrain look with gauges including two tachs, fuel, trim, speedometer, Clarion M303 with Bluetooth CD/Radio and a GPS mounting and compass top the dash.  Uncluttered and all appear in working order.

Forward of the port helm seat is entry to a small day cabin.  Not quite standing headroom.  Under the freshwater sink is a hidden electric head, to starboard a full length bunk with cushion. A real private head and a place for an adult or two kids to nap out of the sun makes this boat an all day fun vessel.  Very clean, not sure the head has ever been used!

Aft of the helm seats to starboard is a freshwater sink, storage below. Seating is "U" shape, again with storage below cushions.  The large Bimini top is in very good condition and shades the entire area. 360 white light mounted on top of Stainless bimini frame.   Port aft is another boarding ladder and freshwater to rinse off.   Mounted on the transom a ski pole, 4 rod holders and double fender holder.  Pop up stainless cleats.

This is the twin engine deck boat.  Twin Yamaha 150hp 4 stroke engines.  Hour meters read 170, however owner (who is not first owner) says he thinks engines have more like 270 hours.  Recent oil change.  WOT is 40plus Knots.  Boat cruises well and economically in the high 20's.

She is clean, but not detailed.  Due to owners health issue he is unable to use or even clean the boat. A bucket of soapy water and some elbow grease would clean inside all the many storage hatches.

Includes a 2012 two axel aluminum trailer with brakes.  Owner says it towed easy on last summer's family trip to the Keys.

Looking for a larger deck boat with twin 4 stroke engines? A boat you can causally fish, scollop, day trip, pull the kids on wakeboards and hang out at the sandbar... and don't have a $140K budget.  This Hurricane 260 is worth a look.
