After 20 years with the same owners, Sagacious is being offered for sale. The current owners purchased Sagacious in 1997 in Coconut Grove, FL. She traveled north up the ICW to owners home in NJ. Soon after with good fortune the owners’ work transferred them to Florida and Sagacious homeport became Satellite Beach, Florida. The owner’s age and health now requires Sagacious sale. Wide molded fiberglass steps replace the standard ladders on the 47, offering safety and comfort. Bridge walk-throughs along with oversize handrails and raised toe rails add to safety. Belowdecks are custom cabinetry, thick pile carpeting and the finest in fabrics. A spacious salon, workable galley, easy to maintain heads and truly comfortable staterooms are incorporated to provide good flow and the most usable space afloat. Mainship motor yachts, part of the Luhrs marine group, is dedicated to bringing the best in design, comfort safety and reliability. Mainship's manufacturing processes include fabrication on-site of many components such as hard tops, rails, furniture and wiring, providing high-quality prompt delivery and a lower price at the dealer. Walk thru SagaciousWalk Thru beginning on the Flybridge
“Sagacious”, like most Mainship 47’s features an expansive flybridge: with comfortable seating for 8, isinglass enclosure, hard top, professionally installed “Teak” (Plastek) flooring and large helm station with newer electronics. There are two recently upholstered helm chairs, a bench style seat to starboard with storage below and an elevated bench seat aft of the pilot’s chair. The Isinglass is in good condition. The helm console features,

Port side, you securely walk down to the aft deck entertaining area on wide molded fiberglass steps with handrails.
Aft Deck Weather protected with isinglass or open wide, the covered aft deck is where the owners relax or entertain family and friends. Owner’s upgrades include a granite top wet bar and new mini-freezer/ refrigerator. The deck is "teak" (Plastek). Being practical, owners installed a second station to assist in maneuverability in tight spots and for docking.

Walking forward toward the bow, with oversize handrails and raised toe rails provides safe access to the bow.. Conveniently Shore power receptacles are located on both sides of boat including Load Rite switch for location control. There appears to be a soft spot in the bow deck, near the windless
Main Salon Forward and three steps down from the aft deck enter your Main Salon with adjoining galley.
The galley is to starboard and features Galley Equipment:

- The wooden door fronts are slightly mismatched in color (a TLC project).

The salon is located portside. Aft a breakfast or formal dining table with seating for four is located immediately port of the galley. Forward in the main salon is a large cream color L shaped “leather like” sofa to port with a pull out bed under the sofa. To Starboard is another matching “leather like” sofa with storage below.
Salon also features:

Aft to Port and 3 steps down is the large aft-located Owners Main Stateroom
At the step base, to port, are mirrored doors of a cedar-lined closet. The Master Stateroom features a queen bed with a large window behind the bed creating a light, open and welcoming appearance. Starboard of the bed is a seating area and drawers for storage; there is also overhead storage over a counter. Forward in the master are more drawers and mirrored shelving area with flat screen TV. Master has recessed lighting and its own air conditioning zone. With the large window aft and lightwood the area is bright. To starboard is the head with a Vacuflush head, an extra large walk in shower, sink with storage below and mirrored four-door medicine cabinet above.
Walking forward, up the 3 steps and through the salon is the Captains study or communication center.
Captains Study From the Salon Forward 3 steps down is the Captains office/ study with desk and chair. This area also features the entertainment center with flat screen TV with DVD player. There is empty shelving where you can install your personal full audio video stereo sound center. Directly behind the Captain study, to starboard is a door which access’s a large head. This head serves the salon area and the forward stateroom has a private access door. The head also features:
- Overhead hatch for lighting.
- Oversized walk in shower.
- Vanity sink with storage below
- Four door mirrored medicine cabinet overhead.
- Storage below sink
- Vacuflush toilet
- New Atwood 750 sump pump and new plastic holding tank
Forward Stateroom The forward stateroom has a queen bed with drawers to starboard side and to port a two door mirrored hanging locker (cedar lined) This area also features a wood floor, flat screen TV, three overhead Bomar hatches for lighting and independent air conditioning. Your guests will enjoy privacy and comfort.
Engine Room The engine room is aft and down two steps from the Captains study. . There are really two areas aft one being the laundry center with washer/dryer combo, drawers for storage and countertop. The Washer/dryer is older (it works, but new owners might chose to replace).
Thru the other door is the engine room with a 5 ft. head clearance.
